Dear Moderator–
REGARDING A3- Climate Change 101: The Law of Greenhouse Gases, Threats to Public Health, and Clinical Implications
I hope that there is a strong tie-in to the issue of medical waste incinerators. Here in Haw River, NC, we have Stericycle’s largest med waste incinerator with 22+ million pounds trucked in from almost half the country in any given year. Healthcare facilities are sending waste to incineration that could be disposed of with non-incineration alternative technologies. The facts are up on our website: http://bredl-medwaste.org
